Revolving Door is a startup business, specialising in roasting coffee with outstanding blends and delicious single origins. Owner and roaster Karen saw an opportunity in the market and wanted to create a variety of blends that fellow coffee lovers could geek out about.
Happy Simple was tasked with designing a logo, brand identity and tone of voice around the name "revolving door". The brief – keep the overall visual identity light and appealing, and peppered with a hint of retro, hipster and colour.
To help clients make a subtle connection we incorporated a hand coffee grinder into the revolving door logo, and keeping the logo text and packaging design inline with brand ethos. Custom light-hearted illustrations and messaging like "coffee, because adulting is hard" help round out the brand's tone of voice and direction.
